Hypothenar Hammer Syndrome

Frontal view of a right hand angiogram.  Note the atrophied ulnar artery.  There is no cotribution to the palmar arches by the ulnar artery.  The palmar arches fill exclusively from the radial artery.  The digital arteries are unremarkable.  Hypothenar hammer syndrome results from repetative trauma to the hand or wrist (such as from using a hammer).
