| The adrenal gland is supplied by three arteries. The superior adrenal artery comes from the inferior phrenic artery. The middle adrenal artery comes directly from the aorta. The inferior adrenal artery comes from the renal artery (arrows). There is usually one adrenal vein for each gland, the right emptying into the vena cava and the left emptying into the left renal vein. |
